COMPETITION: WINNER - Win a Mountain Equipment Janak Jacket from Trekitt

WINNER: More-On

The definitive all-round Gore-Tex Pro mountaineering jacket in 2 Colours that are exclusive to Trekitt. It will keep out a decent UK downpour and even a good-sized Scottish winter blizzard whether you are trekking, mountaineering or hill walking.

The Janak is probably the best UK mountain jacket available today. Designed specifically for the worst conditions and made using the best Gore-Tex Pro fabrics this tough and reliable jacket will shrug off the worst of the weather and handle the rigours of the gnarliest mountaineering adventures.

Made using 3 Layer Gore-Tex Pro and super burly 80-denier face fabric throughout means this jacket was designed to take a beating from the weather and general mountaineering abuse.

It is built around Mountain Equipment's "Alpine Fit" block so it has a closer fit but with enough room to allow for other layers. The sleeves are pre-shaped and articulated to allow for more natural unrestricted movement. The Mountain HC Hood works great with or without a helmet so it's a win-win.

The Dual Tether Hem Drawcord allows for greater fit customisation whilst also eliminating the risk of snagging things like ice axes and crampons. M.E have engineered all the pockets on the front of the jacket in accordance with their Stratum Storage System Construction which increases the internal pocket size by as much as 25%; so there is stacks of room for maps, gloves, hats and whatever else you like to store in your pockets.

If you just need one jacket for all your mountain activities then this is the one.
