This year's annual series of competitions for young climbers in Scotland kicks off on the 27th February. A further two rounds in March and May will identify two teams to compete in the British Final at the EICA: Ratho on the 12th June. There are two regions in Scotland (North and South) and winners from both these regions compete at the British Final as well as being invited to battle it out in a Scottish Final at a later date.

Down south, the BMC Youth Climbing Series kicks off with the first round on 30th January, with all regions taking part. The second rounds are in February and March.

The BMC and MCofS Youth Climbing Series are fun climbing competitions specifically for young people with the emphasis on enjoyment. They are perhaps the most popular competitions for young people attracting hundreds of entrants across the country.
The competitions are open to all within the age categories. You can enter whether you are an experienced climber or a beginner.
