Alberto Rocasolano has made the first ascent of Soyuz, ~8C, at Zarzalejo, near Madrid, Spain.
Alberto has put up and repeated several boulder problems given 8B+ before, but, if confirmed, this was his first 8C, and also the first of the grade in the Madrid region.
The boulder is steep, around 60 degrees overhanging and the holds are all small crimpers. Climbing it requires a lot of body tension!
I made the ascent at night to have the best possible temperature.
