ME practising making anchors to belay from....it was too snowy and wet to climb!

Is that how your balance is so good?! There wasnt any snow at Birchen Edge...where did you find that?!

This ones not taken at Birchen Edge....we went to Froggatt on monday and coz of the snow...spent the day tied up like this! : P

IMHO. If you are making anchors for a belay you would be better off with screw gates on the gear not quickdraws, as that way you would not have to keep an eye on the anchors. If no screw gates at least put the quickdraw wiregates opposing.
