thats the best piece of gear you get on this route. it would take a fall as long as your not too heavy as the flake would brake.. also gotta be careful not to put it out as you go above. but thats slate for u. you think this is bad u should have seen the other piece of gear, a sling around the stem of a shrub about 1.5cm in diameter. his first trad route
