I disagree with the overexposure comment, in fact I love the silhouette of the tree

Thanks for the comments and votes, the contrast in the scene was that high I used Photomatix HDR on a low strength, the contrast between the tree and sky is still a bit high but I liked the impact, I had stopped using HDR but tried it with this shot also dodged some the darker parts,there are some nice gnarly twisted trees beside this one, will maybe try another visit here sometime.

I love all your pictures and would not have guessed that this was an hdr. Very sympathetically done i think.
