What snow remained within the gully posed no real problems except at the foot of the first crux wall,the snow here was very deep and soft,we spent some time flattening and compacting the snow,most of which should have melted away by now.
Also we removed some debris from above the top of the first crux wall, this debris a mixture of scree and small boulders had obviously been carried down by this winters heavy snow falls.
