The original route is better (E4,5c) and breaks right from the pod immediately above Dan's head. He continued to the large white patch, some snappy flakes and a step back right to finish.

Yes it does look like quite an 'Effort'

Rainbow Warrior sort of climbs the arete. It climbs up to the pod, the breaks left to belay on the arete, then finishes up grooves in the LHS of the arete. The lower section of the arete (left of the climbers in the photo) is still unclimbed AFAIK.
