It's a great route in a fantastic location and well worth the hike!

best sunny location in the cuillin by far as ron says; at v diff try west gully or victoria buutress (this takes the blocky corner line on the rh buttress.)
commando crack is a top 10 route, given hard severe but can feel vs on the layback pitch.

It reminded me of some of the south facing crags in Bregalia it was so warm and pleasant. Given the quality of the routes and the beautiful sunny location we surprisingly only met one other team climbing (Brian and Martina)
On the way up by the dark cold shaded NW crags of Sron na Ciche, the cliff was heaving with climbers queueing for all the 'Classic Rock' routes! I felt quite smug that morning when I pointed out Collie's ledge/Integrity to some students with the comment "we're going somewhere warm and sunny as we only climb Integrity in the early evening when it's in the sun... "Grande Diedre is a three star route IMO.
