beautiful corner! what is this route and where does it head after this pitch?
supafly - 05/Aug/10
I don't know what the route is called, but this corner goes surprisingly at f6a. Unfortunately the route carries on to the next hanging corner, which weights at f7b+... If you want to find it in topos then a good pointer is that the roof crack just right and below the climber is the crux pitch of Ma Dalton

can't remember what the route you are on is called, but the hanging corner straight above you is the 7a pitch on ma dalton, a stunning pitch, one bolt at the top.

Great photo and it tickles me now as in 1978 my climbing buddy was trying to climb up the roof of Ma Dalton as we thought it was the rebuffat route. In fact he managed to get over it from the thin cracks on the right before realzing this was a bit hard for a TD sup!!Nice wall that and nice photo.

Isn't that The Mazeaud Route? The 6b 2nd pitch.

Yeah, that's the one. Piola 6a or French 6b/c, depending on what guide you look at.
