    Nice photo, but it's a bouquetin/ibex that is taking centre stage, not a chamois!!

    thanks Liz - you are quite right and the second person to point this out. Ive seen ibex with bigger horns than this - is it a female?

    Yes, I would say that it's a female. Only the males have the large horns and in young males, they are still distinct from the smaller horns of the female.
