Someone has already commented that this pitch was 'black to say the least' However both Martin and myself feel it was in perfectly acceptable winter condition. The crack line i was following was chocked with ice and frozen dirt making it extremely difficult and strenous to protect resulting in a serious lead and very annoyingly a rest one move from a successful onsight.Nothing is black and white!

Top effort Pete. I guess the comments are from those who were no where near the northern corries on Saturday! Sadly the detractors may discourage people from submitting inspiring photos due to the risk of them being unfairly criticised.
