I came across some old negatives that had never been printed, but they were grainy and seemed to have lost their sharpness. Anybody know why ?

tut yes i think its little bugs having a good meal i still have film i shot 1978 not developed they are in a dark and cold fridge there is no bulb i removed it 2018 is the date they will be developed should be interesting
