Dent Blanche?
Jamie Hageman - 05/May/11
No. Right country, though.

matterhorn?
cado - 06/May/11
No, the summit cross of the Matterhorn is a huge thing. This is very small, and it bends!

Weisshorn?
chris bedford - 06/May/11
No. Again, too small for the Weisshorn - that's the clue!

Absolutely!

Cresta Sella - lovely route, that's the way we did it (too cowardly for the E. ridge!). Great pics, thanks.

Yes, I agree with those sentiments entirely having done the E ridge once before, I didn't want to get involved with ANY of the traverse again, so opted for the CS with Hilary. We'd planned to go back down it, but in the end traversed to the west summit and down that way, which wasn't quite as un-nerving as the E ridge. There are a few more photos on my gallery near this one http://www.ukclimbing.com/images/dbpage.html?id=143609

Interesting. Just now the summit cornice curves right over the cross forming a nice sheltered cave to sit in - and making the summit 3m higher!

Excellent. Which route did you do?
