When did the route fall down? My dad wrote an account of doing it in the 1970's which made it sound amazing as well as horrendous. Its one I had always wanted to do.

I think it dissapeared in the big clean up in the 80,s although bits of it still remain.

Hi Brian,Dave died of Cancer in 2007,he had a very full life though.One of his last achievements was to tobogan down the Snowdon Railway on a homemade Luge(he was a Toolmaker)makes the guy who got stuck up there in a car look a bit tame!
