That's right; have you been there? We climbed Illiniza Norte the week before.

Hi Andrew. Yes, smashing place. I was out there when you could still ride the roof of the train out there from Quito, which was fantastic, but horribly dangerous. Unfortunately as I was on my own I only did a couple of the vegetated peaks (El Corazon and another) and Ilinizas Sur (the non-snowy one). The owner of the place I was staying in picked me up after Ilinizas on his motorbike and crashed the bloody thing on the way home! All a bit epic, but good fun :)
