And I want that guy to belay me!

Looks awesome. Which crag?

i don't know what that belayer is doing, but its nothing to do with catching a fall

Is that a belayer or a self propelled bouldering mat?
Andy Hardy
- 26/Mar/12
I think the crag is Reservoir Wall.
And yes obviously the belayer has a relaxing position and behaviour but he is on focus on the climber.
lesoy - 26/Mar/12
Watch out! your belayer is squashed on the floor!

I can't figure out how he's got his foot like he has. Something looks odd!

Great image!!! God knows what the belayer is up to though?
christopher bate - 08/Apr/12
It seems as though he(belayer), is holding onto the boulder to counter balance the fall. Presumably this is the style in Indian Creek. One handed!

Simultaneously compelling and horrifying, looks hideously awkward! Not sure what all the fuss is over the belayer, at least he's awake, looking up and holding the rope!
