I had been over 20 years since I had last lead Ha'penny Arete and I thought I'd never lead it again. The crag is in the middle of a major overall by the Mountaineering club of Bury, which has coincided with me doing a lot more climbing this year so their would never be a better time to do it. With Dom holding the rope and prepared to jump of if I fluffed it gave me the confidence to climb it. Fortunately I kept it together, Well pleased.
