Aha, another St Austell area climber - we're a rare breed. Nice to see folks getting out at Carmear Rock, there's been a fair bit of developments in the woods recently, some pretty good stuff. It's all on here + new guide soon. The route is 'Titch' by the way, not 'The Offwidth', which is further over on the far right.

Ahh thanks for pointing that out Southern Man, wasn't entirely certain! Thought it felt harder than any Severe we had climbed before :). Nice spot down carmear, just a shame its overgrown and full of bitey bugs! Would love to see a more experienced climber down there and in the quarry sometime to see where a lot of the routes go and how they should be climbed!!

No problem. Would definitely be hard at severe, I thought it was a bit hard at HS! Yeah the lack of paths takes a bit of a while to get your head around, and the bugs; I've found leeches on me after a visit there! Drop me an email if you want any info on the newer stuff, or if you fancy getting out there for a couple of hours sometime, I'm often free. Check out Will Luke's Hat sometime if you get a chance, it's quite near the aqueduct and has some really good crack climbs. Cheers, Tom.
