Interested to hear what happened! Having never been on a big glacier before, I'm sure there are dos and don'ts that I need to know

We were out for some glacier walking and decided to go check out some crevasses and do some route finding through them. As you can see the glacier just got ridiculously crevassed, we decided to give up on walking down the glacier and escape to the side (instead of turning back). A bit of a downclimb and a big slabby solo/scramble later we were back on the footpath.

Hah! After descending from the Aig. D'Argentiere, we negotiated this same area after having crossed the glacier too soon while heading for Lognan mid-station.
