Thanks guys :-)
A lucky shot after several days of crap weather when the cloud was just starting to break up... I'm not sure why but as scoobydoo says the ridge looks a lot grander than normal...!

Having done the route 10 times since 1989. I must say that picture is spectacular. Those must be 9 year old children in the photo. The route does not feel so grande when one is climbing it.
This photographer has the touch.

which ridge is this? Was on the cosmiques ridge a couple of weeks back. was great but too busy!! but the photo, I'm guessing this is the the midi-plan traverse?
saulbusbycozic - 02/Oct/12
please ignore my above comment, i'm being a complete imbecile! nice ridge, although i don't remember that bit of it! my favourite part is the pitch with the small finger crack and crampon points.
saulbusbycozic - 02/Oct/12
An absolutely stunner. One of the most unusual shots of its type that I've seen for years.
Gordon Stainforth - 03/Oct/12
Amazing. Looks like they are wandering among giant crystals, something from Jules Verne.
Flinticus - 04/Oct/12
I have never seen a photo make the Cosmiques look so epic! Looked alot tamer when I was on it.
Climbslikeaduck - 04/Oct/12
