A view I have still yet see, because every time I've tried the weather has been bad. Really nice, Karl, looks like one of the best views in the Lakes!

Thanks, Dave - it's well worth going back for (on a nice day). Some reckon the view fromn Border End/Hard Knott is even better but it's all subjective in the end. Strangely, we were around the top for the best part of an hour and saw no-one else.

Putting this on my places to visit, that view is to die for. Great shot.

Thanks, Russell. I walked into the upper Esk onto Scafell just a year ago and it already seems like an age. It was a mild, sunny day and until I hit the summit I only saw one other person just above Cam Spout. He was coming off the Pike after coming in from the Duddon. Border End/Hardknott and Grey Friar are also great viewpoints for the Scafells.
