I remember playing on this beach as a kid (early/mid 1980s) when it was very sandy. My cousin learnt to swim in that very pool! All the sand was lost after the big storm in 1987 I think (you can still see the old sandline, now about 15ft up the cliff, on the opposite side of the bay). The sand was slowly building back but I understand it has now all but completely gone after winter 2014. Nice shot, brought back a lot of memories for me!
