Photo by Ken Jackson. We had climbed Swastika and The Pause the previous day so knew we were climbing ok. I was keen to do Grasshopper [always enjoyed traverses], so Ken let me lead every pitch. I had a great time, the type of climbing suited me perfectly. Despite the climbing not been very well protected in those days [must be bomb proof with todays Friends/wires]. I managed to lead every pitch free, dispensing with three aid pegs and two tension traverses. [Note: The climb was only seven pitches long at that time].
We climbed it again 1967 and 1970, still enjoyed it.
