January 15th is midwinter

This photo was taken on the 29th or 30th of December. Close enough to midwinter, regardless if you define midwinter as the winter solstice or mid-January. Or indeed anything else that can be reasonably thought of as the middle of the winter. But thanks for the helpful comment.
