Stunning shot. I love the way the landscape all seems to spill out from the boulder.

Thanks Robin. I suppose it was really just one of those rare days when anyone could have pointed a camera and leave feeling as though somebody was smiling down.
Cheers.

Cheers.
One of the best Lakeland photos I have ever seen – right up there with the likes of Poucher!

Great Photograph - did you use filters?
Hodge - 19/Apr/05
No filters and no tweeking in Photoshop. Just time and place really.

Quite an unusual Dali-esque look to the reflections not only mirroring the upside down peaks but forming a right way up landscape of their own
Very nice

Very nice
Great colours in the reflection. Did you use a tripod or ballance on a boulder?
Notice you used a G5 - can you remember what setting it was on? Did you put it on manual to close down the aperture? Sorry about the interrogation but its interesting to find out how nice pictures came to life.

Thanks for the comments. Depth of field was important to me in this shot and so I did as you suggested. I think that my ability with a camera was flattered by the fantastic weather conditions.
