Jon (as ever!) is right. They do look like Masters. But I remember Masters as a bit later (circa 1970?) Anyway great to see no gear, no harness and the rope behind his back - Nostalgia City! And a pretty hard move back then before brick edge cruising. Keep these photos coming, Trixibelle, they're wonderful.

"Master's Boots" came in in the early 60s. They became briefly popular because of a shortage of PAs and their association with Joe Brown. When PAs came back in slightly modified form as EBs in 1966 they regained their dominance of the market.
The climber may be Tony Toole.
