That makes the normal route look outrageously steep! In your other looking from the Dome the angle appears far more gentle. Any ideas why?

Looks like it's been squished a bit, and very slightly tilted. It's dramatic though, and a great shape for a mountain

I've been looking through other photos from that day and unfortunately don't have any others from the summit facing that way to use as a reference. However, thinking about it, yes, I suspect it has been ever so slightly tilted. However, unless the UKC auto compression thingy has squished it it won't have been tilted. To be honest, I was probably only trying to fit it all in the frame - apologies for any fiction that has incurred!

No apologies needed, I was just curious. Yes, I hadn't noticed the slightly tilted horizon on the left, which obviously accounts for it rather than it being somehow squeezed. Cracking photo, though.
