I first did an 'En Plein Air' painting on the ridge of Crib Goch at over 900m in the Snow. Was a bit gusty so i lashed my easel to a boulder to prevent it from taking flight. I then used this painting as reference for colour and light, and a photo for detail and composition to produce this larger painting.
