The newly created Jordan Trail treks the length of the country, north to south, finishing at the Red Sea south of Aqaba. The Aheimir Canyon is just one of the many spectacular places along it's 650km.

It is! First time we went though we had to wade a pool and climb a boulder jam. On this occasion it had all been washed out in a flood. Not a place to be in the rain! Same applies to the three 800m deep gorges above the Dead Sea and the 1000m deep Hasa Canyon all of which have to be crossed.
