As mentioned earlier, Whitestonecliffe is NOT a suitable winter or dry tooling venue (not classic faces anyway) but under 'only local travel allowable' this was only potential outing for axes and crampons this spell. First 10Ft some technique, rest frozen turf.
I guess this may not be the first ascent as a winter route...but who knows? Grade maybe stretching it at I. I'm local so climbed here plenty in past and love it, fantastic climbing - ignore the naysayers (but is often scary!).
