Err, Orion nebula - I presume you're talking about the one in the sword - seems to have slipped below the fell horizon - oops :-)

That's Sirius (the Dog Star), the brightest star in the sky. Procyon up and left; the red star in Orion is Betelgeuse; and Aldebaran (another red star) is just poking into the top right side of the picture.

Shows the redness of Betelgeuse really well (red giant). What length exposure, and 1 or 2 (without climber) exposures?

Very cool. After you flashed did you have the climber move out of frame or is it a composite? Lovely shot either way :)
