I always think of Whymper and the Taugwalder's (sp?) three Brocken Spectres on the Matterhorn, after the other four had been lost. Have only ever seen one - near the summit of Slieve Binnian in the Mournes. I was young (15?) and scared. I moved... and it moved. Phew!
