The Devon O B School ran for a period of years but no records of who worked there seem to exist. I can remember a few names including Wally Blake, Derek Mayes, Dave Bassett and Alan Middleton (middy - ex royal marine cliff assault who later moved in retirement to Penzance I think) plus Mike Vining Wilson.and Harry Cornish who I think was C I. In addition to full time staff there were temps who worked one or more courses and in the period I was there this included Rodger Mitchell and Rodger "Whule and a Scot from Glasgow called Bill. I would be interested if anyone new them and what became of them.

Derek Mayes was at Plas y Brenin when I worked there 84 > 86.

The O B have quite a lot from students who attended the Ashburton School who attended on courses. It seems that when the lease on the property was terminated few records survived and nothing exists regarding the staff who worked there. They are interested in details from any person who can help.
