This is the back wall of Small Bay. It would be useful to know where Not Much to Lichen it To goes in comparison to Stolen Moments, or are they the same?

Is Not Much to Lichen it to in the guide? If not have you got a description? I did Stolen Moments last year and enjoyed it but I don't remember there being much else on that section that looked worthwhile.

Dave, Thanks. A description was posted on UKC but it looks awfully like Stolen Moments. Unless I can confirm otherwise it won't be going into the forthcoming guide. The description was "Not Much to Lichen it To 20m HVS 5b
At the back of the small bay set into the grass slope is an impressive west facing slab with a corner to the left. We climbed this --- sort of by accident/stupidity. Rock is a little bit friable (particularly at the bottom and top)." What do you think- Stolen Moments? Keep the feedback on routes coming- for greywacke routes in particular, which aren't climbed often, the UKC feedback is great to help gauge the condition and DP of a route

I'd be very surprised if anyone thought Stolen Moments was HVS so it's hard to see how it and NMtLiIT could be the same route.

Thanks. The difficulty is that it doesn’t really match anything else in Small Bay. While there is a line left of Stolen Moments, that looks too vegetatious to have been climbed. Hopefully the first ascentionists will see this post at some point and be able to clarify. However it is now running out of time for the forthcoming South of Scotland guide which should be out later this year, with topos- famous last words!
