correct me if i'm wrong, but is the climber in this shot not reaching towards what appears to be a chicken carcass, ready for roasting?

The stone mason who carved the gargoyl referred to would, I am sure,be delighted by it's being likened to a chicken carcass. It has suffered through erosion, more from the abuse of road traffic, but is still a great test point. In fact, it can be used for a 'no hands' rest on a high-level traverse.
