Great photo. Would that be Canna off in the distance? I have to add I'm armchair speculating with Google maps and OS sheet to hand assuming you're perhaps on Sgurr na Stri.

Thanks for confirming it's Canna - I thought it was a bit too flat to be Rum. Hopefully will get to visit the Small Isles one day.

I think we"re at cross_purposes! If you squint a bit, you can just make out a bit of Canna poking out behind the Skye skyline. The big island with the hills at left end is definitely Rùm.

Ah, I see what you mean now. The left-most island is further away than I thought and does look mountainous when zoomed in on. Yes, the perils of armchair geography!
