Like the composition here very much, and think the framing of the distant peaks by the tree branch is highly effective. Having said that, I think the shot would work much better either at the beginning or end of the day, when the mountains are free of haze and perhaps silhouetted. You could lose the fence and a lot of that very cultivated-looking grass and the picture would gain something extra.

Cheers! I take your point about the fence. As for time of day, it was around 1700hrs on the way back from Tryfn but NEXT time I might just try and get there earlier, do the same shot with your tips and see how it comes out.
