is that a gatepost or a grave?
    Hotbad Peteel - 16/Sep/06
2 old gateposts, when i first saw them i also thought they were gravestones, however on closer inspection they still have the old fittings for a gate.

Wow. Awesome pic. Would look fantastic on a wall (my wall). Looks like off the cover of a fantasy book.

Taken from somewhere like Brant Fell. That's Belle Island on the left and the notch in the skyline in the centre of the shot is Dunmail Raise. You can also see the Langdale Pikes on the skyline.
Oh, and it's a pretty good shot!

Sorry, this has just been played around with too much in Photoshop. Pretty picture but nothing rings true to nature. 3, sorry.
    Gordon Stainforth - 29/Apr/07
Gordon - i don't play around with my photo's in any image editing program - this is how it was.
    Neil Higgins - 09/May/07
sorry Neil, don't believe you. No way is this natural,it looks too fake.

Maybe you need to get your eyes tested because it seems that 93 other people dont agree with you :)

Love the composition, but are you really saying this hasn't had a bit of HDR treatment or just tweaked highlight/shadows? It sure looks like it.
