merge of three shots in HDR to bring out highlights across the dynamic range. bit noisy but still like it.

Interesting to see use of HDR starting to emerge on UKC! Nice shot, HDR seems to have allowed you to make the distant hills less dark - but not sure it looks completely natural? Maybe that's the noise? Lovely textures on the distant loch though.

I agree Paul, I remain unconvinced with HDR so far....I've used Photomatix software to merge and then try and tweak a wee bit in PS to get it a bit more natural. Agree re noise as well. should probably use noiseninja or such like.

Doesnt have to look completely natural. Looks a bit like a painting - which is good.
