Cloud between 400m & 600m for most of the day. Light was a bit flat so decided monochrome might give better results. Stitsched and edited with Olympus Master and a little touch with MS Photo Premium 10.
    Constructive comments gratefully accepted.

Was this taken on the 1st Feb? I was on Glyder Fach then and the inversion was rather spectacular. Didn't see anyone else up there that day though.

Ascended from Llyn Pen y Gwryd on the Miners Track into a sea of cloud then suddenly broke out at the top above the inversion. Quite a few people up there.

Title is incorrect btw, should be "Crib Goch & Y Lliwedd from Glder Fach" :o)

Nice composition - can you not do anything about the pixellation tho?

Don't know the packages you were using but if you could select the sky and sea (assume it's the sea..) and slightly darken them to bring up the detail, simulating the effect of an ND grad, that would improve it - IMHO, of course. And yeah, the pixellation needs sorting.
Looks like you had a good day out!

Paul/Dave, cheers. Not sure what I can do about the pixelation. The original 2 images were shot on a compact digital in exif-jpeg at ISO 64, not RAW. The original image that the UKC copy was scaled down from wasn't as noticeably pixelated so any advice?

Im a digital virgin - I only know how to do criticism - not advice ;o)
Im sure it wouldnt have been pixillated like that when u took the shot.
My last Moel Frammau shot was pixilated when UKC put it up - problem was at their end I think. I had to delete and re-submit about 3 times before it posted correctly - so it may not be a fault at your end - maybe worth contacting the mods - the pixillation spoils what would have been a 4/5 shot.
