Isn't it Heavenly Path that goes up the front, or is that on another similar looking boulder?

Heavenly Path is down canyon from Solarium (which is just south of The Happy (singular) Boulder. Here's a photo of the boulder you mean http://www.ukclimbing.com/images/dbpage.html?id=64025 :-)

Cheers, I did heavenly path when I was there, and remembered it lloking similar to this boulder, but less featured, glad to see I'm not losing it...

It's not too dissimilar I agree - heavier patina on the top of this one and the transition to slabby is higher up on Heavenly Path. Well done on the tick - too scary for me I'm afraid :-o. BTW Redrum (V7) is on the opposite side of the Solarium Boulder to the above shot.

There are at least three problems up that side of the boulder, one of which is a rising rightwards traverse (Solarium).

Cool! It was my first HVS (and my first leader fall in the process sadly). I'm rather surprised that it is still standing with all the rock fall at Bus Stop recently. Glad you liked it :-).

Given the Drop Zone II is 120cm wide and allowing for some foreshortening (the bottom is overhanging, the top slabbyish) and the mat is actually quite some way back from the foot of the climb (though I realise it doesn't look like it), I guess it's 8-9m high - a Stanage E3 5c/6a maybe, oh and no gear, so probably a solid E4 :-).

I would not have wanted to fall on it!! i didn't touch the big flake shield 2/3 up for worry of pulling it off!

I always though it was a Wylie Coyote moment in the making. You hold the flake and it comes off in your hands. You fall back, survive the impact, but are then flattened by the dinner plate falling on you :-).
I fell because of not planning ahead (a common fault of mine on routes – and problems). I didn’t figure out that the crux had two moves, did the first part fine and then was in a complete tangle for the second, tried to power through (yes, I know :-o) and ended up flying instead. Did it rather fluently the second time, still rather annoyed that I messed up first time :-(.

ahh well - never mind... good effort taking the fall. i think i might have decked from the crux if i'd come off - my gear was much lower than yours from the looks of your pic!! crux was hard for 5a i thought..
