There wasn't a peg in the break before 1 was placed, whether it had been removed I'm not sure. It also seemed like Martin had to clean sections around the arete, which would imply that it had not been lead before...
I know the route isn't on javu.
I would also say that it is nowhere near a 5b, unless you meant 6b? Not really an e4 either by the feel of it!?!

The e4 5b is further left than the photo and in a groove. This looks like it starts up the e4 over the moon then takes the upper arete direct where the parent route goes left up cracks. Good effort.
