Outrageous looking route. Has it had much attention?
Fiend - 11/May/07
Yes quite a few people have tried but been unable to repeat it to date.Top NZ climber Derek Thatcher has been working it for a while Nick Sutter who did some hard Arapiles Routes like Punks and Lord of the Rings been unable to do it. A young swiss? guy was working it recently and quite close.Eric gave it 31/8b but who knows...

Would vote five, but the trouser crime takes one point off for me! ;)

It needs to be done!! A mere 8b, FFS that's flashing territory....in theory!
Could the top mantle be harder than A Little Perculiar E6 7b at the Roaches?
Fiend - 12/May/07
it may just get 8b but remember this is castle hill... pretty unique.

How old is this pic???? Cos the shoes, leggings and chalk bag all look a tad historical...
ttmor - 21/May/07
Eric climbed it in 1991 so it is a tad dated and as I say yet to be repeated.

Wow. This looks absolutely brilliant. A series of big locks on pockets and a gnarly looking finish (which looks akin to Nuit Du Lezard).

Is the grass really that colour in NZ?

It is after a hot dry summer
