I really like this photo, it says alot with not speaking to much if you catch my drift?

Evocative - but I think it would have been improved by a bit more composition. Maybe the horizon on the lower third and the figures on the lower left junction of thirds. Is it possible to try this and repost a second image so we can compare? - that would be interesting - cracking shot though :o)

I agree - try cropping the bottom and LH side. Love the colors and the uniformity of snow and sky.

Its beauty is in its simplicity. I love it.

Id rotate it a few degrees clockwise so the horizon is level

crackin' photo mate, no need to rotate, crop, lower the horizon or do anything else to it....

Thanks v much for all the comments. I had a go at cropping it but didn't like it quite so much. Have posted the result so you can see for yourselves anyway.
The horizon goes up because it's a big mountain to walk up!
