Wow, I have never seen the ice that thick on Stickle Tarn. Lovely shot of Pavey Ark, shame it has been cut off at the top.

According to the diary the club had a meet here in Feb 1936, were it is mentioned they walked on the ice.

I have walked on Ice there the weekend before Christmas 2007 when it was -8 and a friend and i where camping in Langdale
