There is a another version on my blog. It is slightly crisper but the composition isn't as nice as this one.

It was more luck than anything else. I didn't know how the settings on Toby's camera work. It's a longish exposure with the flash. I think the flash highlights the foreground, where the lights only show due to the long exposure. Because we didn't have a tripod and I had to hold the camera, there is a lot of shake on the background. I like the fact that despite the fact we're ice climbing, Simon is still wearing trainers!
