In the light of recent photographic submissions, such as and the fantastic gallery of Brixton Climber - maybe this innocent little shot is now acceptable to the mods?
David Hooper - 11/Mar/08
Hurrah!! The yak is back!
magpie - 11/Mar/08
Yes - the yak is back!! for the 4th or 5th time - I have lost count - maybe the ubermods will let him dwell in the galleries a little longer this time - I think he is getting a complex about being an endangered species :o
David Hooper - 11/Mar/08
I know it is silly - but seeing him back and getting those 5*s again brings a big smile to my face :o)
David Hooper - 11/Mar/08
Excellant, the perfect combination of hilly vista and prime burger making ingredients.
John Wood - 11/Mar/08
We was eating mainly sheep, marmot and ground squirrel John - didnt get a chance to sample Yak meat, although I did enjoy the yak dairy produce :o)
David Hooper - 11/Mar/08
Brilliant, has made me laugh and it has got hills in the background.
Mike Hutton - 11/Mar/08
You are right Mike - it is a photo that makes people smile :o)
Maybe just this one shot won't destroy the purity of the galleries amongst the plethora of gurning boulderers, climbing walls and "arse in a harness on a toprope" shots.
David Hooper - 11/Mar/08
wait a minute - it looks baleful, it's in water, I can't see any legs - it's a Lesser Spotted Mongolian Seal, isn't it?
CJD - 11/Mar/08
Damn you CJD - you spotted those photoshopped horns :o)
David Hooper - 11/Mar/08
You'll get banned, you know ;)
The Pylon King - 11/Mar/08

Glyn Jones - 11/Mar/08
Those sneaky black bears wearing the Viking helmets stalked the unsuspecting horses,,,,,,,,,,,
dek - 12/Mar/08
Ostricised by the herd, Charles had always felt he wasn't like the other horses...
DaveHK - 12/Mar/08
Or: Too late, Charles realised standing with his bum towards the fire wasn't such a good idea afterall...
David Dear - 12/Mar/08
or how about..............
"I cant get out of the water until I loose this stiffy" thought Charles :o)
David Hooper - 12/Mar/08

magpie - 17/Mar/08
i think what people are saying is as far as fun photos goes this is top of the bunch, its almost like he is saying"im standing in water its fun the water is clear so ive been here awhile, yet its still fun" love the simplicity
theterrorwheel - 18/Mar/08
He was there when I opened my tent in the morning - and yes he really did look content just standing in his pool, chewing on some vegetation.
David Hooper - 18/Mar/08
Hooper, Thats a brilliant photo. Wait and see the one of you dog sleding in Norway..... Next weeks winner?!?
orb - 19/Mar/08
I suppose a few minutes after he had a c**p in that water you then went to fill your water bottle?
Jen_George - 26/Mar/08
