Hi, when did you climb this? We climbed Canisaya from the NE in 2009 - great area.

This would have been 2005, my first big trip, we had an argument weather to approach from the north or south but in the end the south won, it was a bit of an arse to get to as we did everthing via local transport

Yeah it was a fair way in round the Illo Illo side too. I think we came down the top part of this route and then turned right at the col to get down to our valley, whereas I guess you would have descended the other side?
