I started climbing when in the Scouts, and it has been a pleasure ever since. I'm not particularly motivated to go for harder routes, currently probably around E1 ish, sport 6a+, depending on the crag, but am equally happy doing long easy mountain routes.

Best Climbing Experience
Cenotaph Corner onsight. It had been a goal since it had been pointed out to me, a beautiful, clean, direct and committing line up the crag, and I'd wanted to lead it. Not just climb it, but lead it. Everything came together on a warm summer Sunday evening. Even dropping all my wires about 3/4 the way up wasn't going to stop me by then. The wires? Didn't even touch the ground - plucked cleanly out of the air by my second!
